ASSEMBLY I N S T RUCTION S

Assembly of this ﬁxture will be accomplished by ﬁrst assembling the body of the

ﬁxture, installing the mounting hardware to the junction box, making all necessary

electrical connections, hanging the ﬁxture and then installing the ﬁxture glass

and shade.

SAFETY WARNING: Read wiring and grounding instructions [FRIS 18]

and any additional directions. Turn power supply oﬀ during installation. If new wiring

is required, consult a qualiﬁed electrician or local authorities for code requirements.

STEP 1

Refer to Hanging Instruction Sheet

[FRIS19] to hang ﬁxture. Then refer back

to this sheet to continue assenble of this ﬁxture.

Thread tubing (2) into coupler (a), located in the center of the socket assembly (1), approximately 3/8”.

Tighten hex nut (3) up against coupler (a) to lock threaded tube (2) in place.

Fixture can now be installed.

STEP 2

To install glass ﬁrst slip tube (6) over threaded tube (2), installed earlier and hold piece in place.

Slip cap (7) over the threded tube and onto end of tube (6), and hold in place.

Slip rubber washer (8) onto threaded tube, friction of washer on tube will hold parts in place.

NOTE: getting assistance during this step is recommended. Slip glass (9) onto threaded tube and hold

in position.

While holding glass in position, slip rubber washer (10) followed by metal washer (11) onto threaded tube

and hold pieces in place.

Thread hex nut (12) onto threaded tube and tighten to secure glass to ﬁxture.

Slip cap (13) onto threaded tube and the thread ball knob (14) onto end of threaded tube and tighten.

Slip tabs (c) located on the top lip of the shade (15) over edge of glass to ﬁnish assembly.

Slip diﬀuser plates (4) over threaded studs located on plate (b).

Thread on ball knobs (5) to secure diﬀuser plates.
